The Mission
At the heart of every design, is a reflection of what Yahweh is doing in my personal relationship with Him.
Hi my name is Shawn Gibson, and I am the owner of Hebrew Merch. My hope is that Hebrew Merch wouldn't just be a business, but also a ministry. At the heart of it is my love for Abba, Yeshua, and Ruach Hakodesh. I want to honor what He is doing in my life, and share through T-shirts and apparel designs, my love for Him, but also His creation, and His people. This include the Hebrew language and the living Hebrew letters that have helped unlock truth in my own life. Some of the designs may highlight different Scriptures or Biblical Feasts, but my hope is that they help reveal the Ruach (or Spirit), that the Lord has breathed into each Hebrew word or image. I do work with various artists around the globe, to provide designs that God has birthed in me. Some of these artists may have already discovered God, and some may have not. So my prayer is that those that do know God, allow the Holy Spirit to guide their designs, and the others that have not, discover something true about God while creating the designs. My hope is also, that if a design catches your eye, that it becomes a part of who you are too. That it unlocks a door to knowing Adonai, in a more meaningful way then ever before.
How it Started
I really love Hebrew! It is so beautiful, full of energy, and light! I believe those letters are alive, and as weird as that seems, isn’t everything connected with the giver of life in Heaven and Earth alive? It is the language that God used to give us Torah. It is the language that Yeshua (Jesus) spoke to his disciples. And I don’t think it is a stretch to think he used Hebrew to form all creation. So while driving in my car, my love for God and my love for Hebrew came together and told me to create an online store making T-shirts. My plan is to use a significant amount of the profits to help support ministries that acknowledge the Hebrew thought and ways of our faith. That minister to the Christian Church, and encourage us to find the ancient path of the Hebraic way of life and Biblical feasts in the fullness of the Messiah so that we can walk into what God has intended for us. Whether you are Messianic, Protestant, Mystical, Orthodox, Jewish or something else, I hope we can come together as Jew and Gentile and Be Israel, God’s chosen people, as a One New Man. So yeah, that is why I started this brand.
